School rocks!

 Going back to school this year isn't all that bad as this season's next big trend is the 'school girl trend'. Scholarly oxford collars, checkered skirts, and high-heeled loafers with plenty of attitude.  This trend fuses 'college prep' with 'tartan' to come up with a perfect balance of rock and prep!

Tartan

Tartan was big in summer 2012 but its come back bigger and better in fall fashion. Although it is a super cool print, never wear tartan in combination with another print, you'll end up looking far too 'busy' - keep it minimal. Chunky knits are a great texture to pair with this vivid check, so layer up!    

Baroque print

Baroque is a regal pattern that can be seen everywhere! It's stylish, chic, elegant and most of all regal. Celebs such as Selena Gomez are rocking this print and you can too, just swap those white summer dresses for this gorgeous tapestry print, that will be found on many chunky knit sweaters this season coming into autumn/ winter ! 

mental for metallic

 
Metallic is so in right now and I love this trend! So fashionable and rocker, and can be worn with a range of differant looks and fabrics. They look super cool with any denim and really rocker with any leather. Just try keep it to a max of two metallic items per outfit, because it is so easy to go wrong with them. They can really add that little extra to an outfit...so be sure to grab a pair of metallic .. well anything ! 

Galaxy print

 I have a very strong feeling that this galaxy print is going to become very popular and we are going to be seeing alot more of it soon. It looks great on leggings, jeans, shorts, t-shirts, dresses and even shoes! So just keep an eye out for this print in the future!                                                                                                    

Camo printed military jackets

These jackets are everywhere right now and I couldn't help but notice how stylish they are. They can make a plain outfit look instantly fashionable and bang on trend! They have that festival style that everyone is buzzing about! Pair with a girly/ white dress and wellies or acid wash jeans and a rocker t-shirt for the most affective looks.

head to toe leather

This trend is huge for autumn 2012 and many fashion designers are creating this look on their runways. This trend was bound to follow sometime after the head to toe denim trend came in. This look was kick-started when Anne Hathaway starred as Cat woman in 'The Dark Knight Rises' and was seen throughout most of the movie, rocking a full-body leather suit! My hats off to her..

obsession!

I came across these boots around 5 months ago when I saw them in a magazine. At first I didn't really like them but they have grown on me and now I find myself wishing I had them. They have that 90's grunge style that is all in right now! I officially have an obsession with these boots!

sunshine nails!

Yellow nail polish is seriously trending right now. Many celebs such as Lady Gaga, Rihanna and Katy Perry have all worn this fun, electric colour ! Just be careful when deciding on a colour because too neon can look tacky and too dark can look dull .. just pick the shade that best suits your skintone and you cant go wrong!
