Wide-brimmed hats

   Wide-brimmed hats are making a huge comeback this winter. This look is very 70′s inspired, and fashion designers aren’t playing it “safe” with color, either! Wide-brimmed hats of all [bold] colors and textures, like suede, made a debut on the Fall/ Winter 2012 Fashion Week runways. If you really want to add some punch to your wardrobe this fall, a colorful wide-brimmed hat is a must have!

Quilted jackets

  Quilted jackets are huge right now, and are just in time for the weather to start to cool down, you'll need a cool cover up.
Khaki green, grey and black are all key colours, and like a denim jacket they will pretty much go with every casual look you've got! Wear it as a tougher look and combine the jacket with jeans and biker boots or wear it slightly more “girlish” and combine it with a dress. 

Roll necks

  The roll neck top is another fashion classic that will be staging a comeback this Winter. Roll neck tops look great with layers and different fabrics. Try layering them with leather, knits and fur– you’ll find some great inspiration on the runway at Pringle.

Leather Gloves

  Leather gloves are sophisticated, elegant and most of all, huge in Winter 2012/ 2013. There are many different styles of leather gloves. Balenciaga featured sporty leather gloves, and Burberry featured leather gloves reaching 1/2 way up the forearm but my favourite are the gloves stretching all the way up to the elbow and a couple of inches above, featured in Christian dior's collection. These gloves are to be worn with many layers and fabrics and look amazing with chunky knit's.

School rocks!

 Going back to school this year isn't all that bad as this season's next big trend is the 'school girl trend'. Scholarly oxford collars, checkered skirts, and high-heeled loafers with plenty of attitude.  This trend fuses 'college prep' with 'tartan' to come up with a perfect balance of rock and prep!

Tartan

Tartan was big in summer 2012 but its come back bigger and better in fall fashion. Although it is a super cool print, never wear tartan in combination with another print, you'll end up looking far too 'busy' - keep it minimal. Chunky knits are a great texture to pair with this vivid check, so layer up!    

Baroque print

Baroque is a regal pattern that can be seen everywhere! It's stylish, chic, elegant and most of all regal. Celebs such as Selena Gomez are rocking this print and you can too, just swap those white summer dresses for this gorgeous tapestry print, that will be found on many chunky knit sweaters this season coming into autumn/ winter !
